The picture is taken in 2009; at the time you could visit it and get the picture of how it use to be the life on such a boat, in the past. Soon after that I heard that the boat burned; I don't know if it was recovered.
Dear Visitor, Sometimes, you are amazed by the world around you and you would like to keep that image as it is forever...and you would like to show to everyone what a wonderful treasure you discovered. So I started to take pictures. And I found this place to show you the treasures I found. Sometimes, I play a little with the colours and the lights; so I discover more wonders... I had my first image posted on www.fineartamerica.com in 18.04.2011. Since than, shy at the begining, I posted more and more pictures. "The window to...Provence" is now somewhere in New York and a nice person or family is enjoying it and I am deeply thankful for that. I thank YOU also, dear visitor, for taking the time to stop by... Indeed a very creative arrangement of the remake of the Amsterdam boat! Maybe a big relief to you and Bob: this boat was NOT burnt. It still lies readily available for visits at the Amsterdam Maritime Museum. It was another replica boat which was being constructed, much less ornated, that burnt down. Voted!
